Introduction to branch

For autumn 2011 we are offering a varied and fascinating programme which will include, ‘World Literature’, ‘Poetry’, ‘British History’, ‘Music’, ‘History of Art’, ‘Film Studies’, ‘History of the Gardens of London’, ‘Photography, Photoshop & Desktop Publishing’ and ‘Keep Fit with Core Stretch & Tone’.

The majority of our classes are 20 weeks. As you may know, you can attend one class free as a taster before deciding to enrol and if you are in receipt of specific state benefits the courses are free. Pre enrolment either by telephone, online or by using the enrolment form in the London WEA Courses Brochure would be appreciated. Our names, email addresses and telephone numbers are at the top of this page as well as in the WEA Brochure under the Ruislip and Uxbridge Branch.

All our classes are held at the Compass Theatre in Ickenham which has parking and is also close to Ickenham station and to bus routes. All our classes run in the daytime.

We are always delighted to welcome new students to our user friendly classes. Current students please come and join us again and bring your friends along.

The WEA is committed to promoting equality and diversity. All are Welcome.
