Area Learning Manager for TUC & Trade Union Provision

Salary £29, 573 - £33, 797 plus London Weighting

The Workers' Educational Association - WEA - is the UK's largest voluntary provider of adult learning, delivering over 10,000 courses each year. An educational charity, we provide access to learning to adults from all backgrounds, but with a special focus on those whose social or economic circumstances have disadvantaged them, and who have so far missed out on education.

We are seeking to appoint an experienced manager for the TU Education Programme in our London Region on the retirement of the present manager. We are looking for someone with excellent communication, organisation, and management and leadership skills. The successful candidate will have a proven track record in trade union education, with TUC tutor accreditation and experience of delivering TUC and trade union programmes. You will also have a minimum of a Level 4 teaching qualification and experience of dealing with learners from a wide range of backgrounds.
