Find out what it means to be a union rep, how union democracy works, how to represent your members effectively, working in teams, how to deal with collective and individual issues.

Duration: 12 MONDAYS from: 09 JANUARY 2012 and 16 APRIL 2012

►STEPPING UP ADVANCED for Union Reps (LUL & General)

FOR MORE EXPERIENCED REPS: If you have completed a Stage 1 course within the last two years and would like to further your skills and knowledge, you can sign up for our advanced reps courses.

The course looks in more detail on the trade union context, planning, organising and campaigning, collective bargaining, employment law, UK and European legal structure.

Duration: 12 WEDNESDAYS from 11 JANUARY 2012 and 25 APRIL 2012
